Dr. Claudio Telecemian

Dr. Telecemian returns to Buenos Aires having completed his studies in the USA and his Complete Residency in Plastic Surgery with Professor Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He rejoins the Plastic Surgery Service of the Fernandez Hospital and opens his office. Currently, he develops his activity within the field of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, and directs a team of professionals to the specialty of Medical Aesthetics.

AESTHETIC SURGERY

Definition: Plastic Surgery

Branch of surgery that is dedicated to the recovery of form and function. It has two major subspecialties, the aesthetic and the reparative that go together and are inseparable. Currently this division is taking more and more diffuse and aesthetic surgery is not conceived without a restorative concept if a reconstructive surgery that seeks more and more the aesthetic result.

That is why the importance of the formation of the Plastic Surgeon in both branches of the specialty.

ACADEMIC

FORMATION

Dr. Claudio Telecemian graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Buenos Aires (UNBA). His surgical training begins at the Surgery Department of the UNBA Chair of Tisionumology, then travels to California USA where he submits and passes the exams for the title revalidation (Medical Part). Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates ECFMG, Pasadena, CA.

Back in Buenos Aires, he joined the Plastic Surgery Service of the Fernández Hospital as a concurrent doctor. He entered by international competition as Resident of the Specialization Course in Plastic Surgery of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro for three years, whose director is Professor Ivo Pitanguy. Receives the title of Specialist in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. His monograph «Cartilaginous grafts in the Nasal Point», was sponsored by Professor Ivo Pitanguy, base of the work of the same name published in Number 109 of the Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery. His specialist title was approved by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCPER), the National University of Buenos Aires UNBA and the Ministry of Health and Social Action of the Argentine Republic.

When he returned to Buenos Aires, he won the position of Plastic Surgeon Holder of the Fernandez Hospital, which he was in charge of on several occasions, and began his particular activity in the Carlos Pellegrini Street office.
